See you soon, Barcelona!

Here I am, one New Girl episode, two movies, a bag of fruit snacks, and a cup of Twinnings peppermint tea into my nine and a half hour flight to London. I am about to embark on an adventure I’ve dreamed about since I first learned what study abroad was. Though I am currently on my way to the city home to the Royal family, I am not staying to sip tea with the Queen (trust me, she’s very disappointed).

Once I arrive in London, I will be boarding another flight to the city I’ll be calling home for the next three months. !Vive a Barcelona!

Living in Spain for the semester is going to be a dream. Knowing not a single person in the city, I can’t wait to get to know my roommates, classmates, and the stunning place I’ll get to call home.

Soon enough I’ll be strolling the city, shopping at La Boqueria, visiting Park Güell, and eating tapas like it’s my job. Oh, and I might be attending a class or two.

For now, however, I’m going to sit here and listen to the British Airways flight crew charm me with their ever so lovely accents, sip my tea, and wait to arrive.
